My wife and I were christians years ago and feel that the lord has never been far away from me, i have had a very troubled past (depression anxiety)were my wife and two sons suffered with me.I had a mental illness that got worse when i left the army, sadly i did`nt know that my family were suffering along with me.Lately my marriage broke up, after 26 tough years my wife had enough and we broke up, i thank God for my wife who stood by me for so long and showed so much love and care.
I am a back slider as is my wife, as im sure you can guess i am totaly devastated and miss her so much.She has become so hard and cold towards me because of all the hurt i caused for which i am truely sorry.Lately i have found myself reading my bible again and daily devotionals from different sites.I have asked family to pray for us that we can both forgive one another and heal all the hurt.I only found out tonight that my wife has been to church after being away for so long, i thank God for prayer answered.
It seems my wife is still hurting a lot and looking for answers that i cannot give her, she still has so much bitterness towards me and bad memories from so long ago.
We have been split up now for 3 months and i have not seen her much at all, when we do speak it always seems to end up in anger and tears for both of us.
Would you please pray for us that through the Lord we can put an end once and for all to the hurt, pain and bad memories.We both need strength and the ability to reconcile, i do`nt even know if we will ever be together again.
I believe the Lord is dealing with us or me because we have slipped away from his path of love and the life he has planned for us.

I`m sorry if i seemed confused, tonight i have broken down in tears yet again and feel life is not worth living anymore.I do`nt really know what to ask for in prayer but i do know that the Lord knows my needs and have faith that his children will also know what to pray for.
If anyone has personal experience of such problems or maybe knows where i can get help please contact me as soon as possible.
