Lord I pray for strength for D. Brownlee and the comfort of your Word in his occupation that he will be a light in the darkness for the inmates and they will see kindness and Jesus in him. I pray that other officers will be morally convicted of their mean spirited behavior and come to know you as their Saviour and Lord. Lord protect D.Brownlee and prosper him spiritually and pysically as he walks with you. I pray that many inmates in this facility will come to know you and be gloriously saved as a result of D. Brownlee's love and service to you Dear Lord and those that belittle him will feel ashame of their actions and will come to serve you.

I agree with the prayers on Your behalf , more importantly, God does. It is clear from God's Word, that we as believers have a special calling to minister the gospel to those in chains.
I feel strongly to tell you that God wants to you to be there, and not to listen to the lies of the enemy trying to convince you to get out. They only want you out because your presence convicts them. You are there not by accident, but by destiny. Your stand for Christ and allowing Him to empower you to be in a place where darkness is so evident, is a calling that He specifically choose for YOU, that not many people have the courage to answer.
God sees something in You, perhaps that you do not even know. You have a deep sense of nobility and of the great mercy and justice of our King. I can see that you have a warrior spirit , like King David. When David was a boy, protecting the sheep, he showed courage and faith in His God, ultimately to protect them. He was willing to put his own life on the line, because his trust in the Lord was so strong. You have that kind of faith. David was rewarded for that, and so shall you be. That is what makes a man a King. A heart after God’s own heart.
There is spiritual battle, especially strong in the places where people are in chains. The enemy likes to do his finest work there, but, so does God. It is human drama in intensity.
I am so thrilled to be able to share with you your stand for Christ in this prison and for you to be greatly rewarded and blessed.
“ Dear Almighty God,
We bow before you and thank you for your servant D. that is standing in the gap on Your behalf . “For we know that we war not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6: 12
I ask for your Heavenly amour to cover D. I ask that he put on Your full armor every day so that he will be able to stand strong.
“ Above all,” your Word says, “ taking the shield of faith, where with D shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”
Like Paul, who was in some tough prison situations, may he be able to speak boldly, with all wisdom, so that none will be able to argue.
I thank you for his calling and that he has answered You. I pray that You give him supernatural assurance that You will protect him in everyway in that environment, I pray that he knows that You have gone before him and prepared his way there. That it is You that send him there for a specific purpose.
I ask you to send another Christian there to back him up.
Empower him to see with Your eyes everything around him, as You see it. Your heart is that justice be that, just. That human beings are treated fairly, with humane compassion, and not like animals. Show him the way to be strong, able to be tough when he needs to be and gentle when he can. Give him peace about the fact that as a follower of You he may be called to do things in differant ways than others can make sense of. Allow him to be wise as a serpent, fully aware of the dangers around him, but not hardened .
Protect his physical welfare with angels, and the fact that Your Holy Spirit shines fourth from him. I pray that the prisoners recognize Your Spirit in him and respect that.
So often in these situations , people use brutality to control people, I pray that your Spirit show D. exactly how to respond in each situation so that he is given Your favor, even if others do not understand.
I pray that you give him a special protection against any attempt of others who may feel convicted or jealous of him, to harm him in any way. If they try to harm him, I pray that it comes back on them and that they are caught in their own net. May they come to know you.
Give him supernatural strength in his soul so that he can endure, with patience this tough situation You have placed him in .
Your Word says to D today, “ I will go before thee and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.
And I will give thee treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that thou may knowest that I , the Lord, which call the by thy name, am the God of Israel.”

God sent you there because he knew you would pray and represent Him there in an honorable way. He would not have sent you there if He knew you would fail.
He shall be your fortress and Your shield. I pray that God shall give you supernatural peace, not to be afraid of these cowards. I pray that He understand that Your power to protect him is far greater than anything they can do to him. The enemy likes to try to scare us any chance he gets. He thinks its funny when we are anxious and he knows that when we are in that state we tend to doubt God, with he likes, so then he can play with us. He roars and growls, but he is chained, and can not touch us. He is counting on the illusion that he can to frighten us into thinking he is bigger than he is.
I pray that D. is able to sleep in peace, and that you fill his mind and heart with scriptures that encourage and build him up . I pray that you give him joy that over flows in him.
Thank you for this opportunity to pray with D today. We praise you for everything You are. We thank you that we can trust You entirely to guide and direct our path. We praise You above all others ! We sing Your praises no matter what anyone else will do around us. Or to us. We thank you that You are good to Your people. That You love D so much that you died for him specifically and are delighted in him. That you are proud of him. Thank you for being the perfect Father.
We put this matter in Your hands, and know that You will constantly be speaking to D and interceding with him , directing him in the way he should go.
