Your doubts about your intelligence are the enemy's way of keeping you from following the direction God wants you to go in. That passion you feel was put there by God and you will know exactly what to do and when to do it. There are people out there that have been wrongly accused and need (or will need) your help. I pray that God will strengthen you and provide for every need along this path.

Law School
I have a very strong desire to change careers and become a defense attorney.
Please pray that if this is part of God's plan for me that He opens doors for me to go to law school. I have felt this for some time now, but have doubts about my intelligence and capabilities to step out in this way.
It would be a stretch for me in many ways, but I feel a passion for it like I have not known deep inside me. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Everybody,
I applied for a fee waiver for the LSAT, and was accepted. I take the test February 7, 2009.I thought I would have to travel to the test site, but there is one about 30 minutes from my place at the school I earned my Bachelors from. I am in need of a tutor or class for one of the sections I just can't seem to get on my on, so God will be showing me where and when for that prep I need to do well.

It will be a long process if this God's direction for me. I am studying for my LSAT and reading as many books as I can involving legal careers.
THere is the issue of the Lord providing the 78,000.00. There are things I need to do prepare and it might take about two years before I am set up.
Then again, this may not be God's will but maybe a focus He wants me to have right now to keep from focusing on other things that are not in my control- to keep me busy doing something productive.
Who knows the mind of the Lord? WHo knows how the Holy Spirit leads, and the creative manuvers He sways us to and fro in the maze of life! How wonderful! His thoughts are far above my own, and His judgements are right and true.
Thanks everybody! I thank God for this site where there are so many supportive people gifted with mercy, teaching, leadership.
