Career Opportunity.
Dear Lord, I am recently out of job and deeply in debts. I have problem providing for my family and do not have the money to send my son to school. I ask our Lord to provide me a career opportunity to resolve my problems mainly financial. However. I thank the Lord for keeping my family healthy and living in harmony though we are facing financial problem.

as i read these comments i didnt know what to say. i just know i wanted to say something. may god touch you in a way that will forever and a day remind you that he is the Alpha and the Omega! he is real. and you cant blame him for your own free will no more than you can blame the devil for all that is wrong with the world. Wow. I hadn't read this post until tonight and I wanted to say something too.
I dont know Agnew, so I can't really say what is going on inside, just that I feel compassion for that kind of response. Obviously, there is great disappointment and sorrow behind it.
I do not know anybody who has not struggled with faith, or had moments where it seems so silly to believe in a God we can't see. A God who uses people and allows us free will.
When I have had those moments, God always straigtens me out. I am so grateful we have a God who is not threatened in the least by questions, or by our being confused about things.Or intimidated by our outrage, sorrow, frustrations, or confusion. I ask Him questions, and we talk it over. I don't always understand the answers, but we have great conversation.
It might make him sad, but He understands how weak and fragile and limited our minds are. That is what Grace is for.
God can change that circumstance for that girl in Kenya. And for Kelvinkim too. I have seen amazing things He has done in my life that were the direct result of prayer, and the movement of love in others and myself that were not natural.
In fact, the reason she suffers, is because of sin and selfishness in the human heart- not God fault, but choices made by people.
There are so many people working hard to change lives for the good, one person at a time. I am so grateful for this. This starts with a changed and willing heart. God does change hearts. I know because He changed mine.

I praise You , Jesus, for Your merciful kindness upon the human creature. We all struggle with sin, doubt, with selfish desires that harm others. But You have shown us another way.
I ask you to bless KelvinKim in such a way that Your intervention in his life allows him to serve others and make a differance for others lives.
I ask you to help Agnew. I pray that he asks YOU those questions about Your realness. I have no doubt that You will reveal yourself to him in a way that leaves no doubt.
Open his eyes to see the differance you do make. If there were no longer people of faith in this world, it would be such a dark and hideous place that no one would want to be here. I thank you for all your shining lights. I thank you for your people. I am here today because of Your great love shown to me through others being Your hands and feet.
