I would like publicly thank God for helping my son and our family through surgery (though it was a minor one). I was told only one parent are allowed to stay the night in the hospital (which is in another city from where we live). Both my husband and I felt a bit uncomfortable leaving the hospital. Finally, my husband decide he would be the one leaving coz he knows I would worried without being there for our son. We did see that physically, it is not possible to fit everyone into the room since we are sharing the room with another child and his mom. We just concentrate on praying that our child would come out of general anaesthsia alright. I just casually whispered to God, it would be nice if we can both somehow stay the night. The night seems long because we are sharing a tiny room with people that we do not know but we tried to make it as comfortable as possible for everyone by bringing our child out to the play room. When we returned to the room at 11pm, the child that we shared the room with is discharged. I have never seen any doctor discharge a 3-year old child close to midnight. I think God did hear me whispering to him. The next morning, I believe it is a miracle that my son (3,8 yrs) did not resist being taken into the operating room, put on the mask and injection. I asked the nurse afterwards did he cried and she said he was calm as a stone. My son is the kind of kid who would jump up and down while he eats; I cannot think of another reason why he was so calm except that God was holding him in HIS hands at the time. I'm very very grateful and would like to share this with my prayer buddies. My son recover very well...thanks to HIM. In Christ...adelaide
