God does remove emotional pain. The Bible says that God "heals our brokenhearts and binds up all our wounds". How does he do it? Simple: through our thought processes(thinking about the Word of God) and consistent prayer. The word heals us daily and protect us from the negative thoughts that the enemy brings back to our remembrance. We have to just continue to resist those evil thoughts and just speak God's word over and over again. Before you know it, peace is flowing again.( Praise music is effective as well.) And also, pray with someone daily over your mind and emotions( I have a ministry that I call almost daily to pray- for myself, and for other people). You do this too, because sometimes we need help in binding the devil. The Bible says that two are better than one(Eccl 4:9). And stay in prayer always(2Thess.5:17). Prayer keeps you in God's presence, and in his presence is the "fullness of joy"(Ps.16:11). Pain can't live where God's Joy is. It has to die soon.

Don't worry. Just keep seeking God. Healing is coming. Just watch your mind(and your mouth!). Only speak what God's word says. Nothing else.
