Father, we know that you love Gracie far more than we ever could. That's why you sent your son into the world to be abused for us and to die on a cross for us, suffering severely. You love the people of the world so much that you were willing to sacrifice that thing means the most to you. You even said in your word that your son died for us even while we were sinners- unrighteous and spiritually filthy in your sight. There was nothing you wouldn't do for us then, so surely there is nothing you wouldn't do for us now. In your love for this child, lift her up, father; bring an end to all of her suffering and pain. Ease her hurting heart also, Lord, for I am sure that she is wondering why life has to be so painful for her though she is only a little child. Not only look on Gracie, father, but on so many of these beautiful little children all around the world. We know that you love them all and have a plan for all of them. And we ask you to look upon Gracie's family. Give them all peace in these difficult times; let them know in their hearts that you are there with them and that you promise to never ever leave them or forsake them. Let them feel your presence with them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
