Hang in there, Autumn! I will pray really hard for you.

Sounds like Satan is really coming after you to discourage you and make you feel like God is not there with you to help you. But remember: the Bible says that God will never leave us or forsake us, no matter how difficult things are for you right now(Heb.13:5). As far as your husband is concerned, we know that what he is doing is inspired by satan, because the devil usually tries to attact us through those who are the closest to us. But hold on: God has not forgotten you! The Bible says that in this world, we will have tribulations, but fear not, for Jesus has overcome the world(Jn.16:33). And Jesus also said to let not your heart be afraid. His peace he has given to us(Jn.14:27). And don't forget that God's angels are there to protect you and that all these things will pass soon, though they may not seem like it for now. God will soon open doors for you. Just be sure to get in his presence more so that your peace can return. Gather christians friends around you for more daily support and encouragement. And be sure to get your pastor to pray for you: God has given them special power to uplift the sheep that they shepherd. All will be well in time.

And as far as being like the christians are at church, those who seem to really be living so holy and spiritual, don't be deceived by what things appear to be. Many of them are struggling with their own personal issues and sins. God may be more pleased with you than he is with them because your heart at least longs for a closer relationship with him. The heart pleases God when it longs for more of him(Ps.19:14); and the Bibles says that "they that hunger and thirst for righteousness shall be filled"(Matt.5:6). And don't forget: these trials are building you up for something God will do with you in the days to come. There are others who are going through what you are suffering and will need your encouragement. In this way God will use for good what the devil is trying to use for bad. But just hold on. You will reap if you faint not(Gal.6:9).

PRAYER: Father, we lift up our sister in christ to you. We first pray for her to be drawn into your presence like never before, because we know that your joy is at its fullest in our lives when we stay before you; and we know that as long as we continue to submit to you, the devil will eventually flee. Give Autumn the strength to keep trusting in you; give her a stronger prayer life and stronger Bible study life. Draw her closer together with others who will continue to lift her up and pray for her, Lord. Increase their love for her in these times. And deliver her husband from Satan's grasp, father, for we know that he doesn't fully know what he's doing, how the devil is using him against your servant. And protect that little child, Lord; let no harm come to his mind. We speak that you are guarding his thoughts and protecting his emotions. Work it out in his life so that he will have a good relationship with both his mother and father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
