Don't worry: God can give you favor with people. The Bible says that a person who pleasing in God's sight, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him(Pr.16:7). Remember how God gave Joseph favor in the eyes of the Egyptians. Just be sure that you are doing everything to increase the presence of God in your life. It's possible to have God on the inside, but not necessarily have him fill your atmosphere. We have to stir up his presence from within us to get that("Stir up the gift of God which is thee by the putting on of my hands."2Tim.1:6). That means spending plenty of time with God outside of work. And pray for your bosses often; wish the best for them in their personal lives. God will then return what you sow back unto you. Ultimately, it is our relationship with that gives us favor with people.
