Dash, if you look to circumstances and arguments, particularly arguments about remembering dates, to judge where your marriage is, then you will always struggle in that marriage. Just begin to focus your life around living for Jesus. Get in his word more; fill your life with prayer; and grow in your love walk, not just with your husband, but everyone around you. It is then that you will draw more of the presence of God into your life and your home. And God's presence will begin to have a profound effect on your marriage. So don't worry about the little things: marriage is too sacred for that. Just do all you can to please Jesus, and he will do the rest.
