Barbie, there comes a time when you have stand on the authority you have as the owner of the house. It is time that you ask your friend to leave. Do not allow the devil to deceive and manipulate you. God has called us to help those in need, not those who refuse to help themselves. If people are capable of helping themselves, then they should- or suffer the consequences. The Bibles say that "if a man won't work, then he shouldn't eat"(2Thess.3:10). Moreover, God doesn't require you to move someone(and their friend) into your house for a whole year! Believe me, someone is trying to use you. It's time to ask them to leave. Maybe give them a month or so(they have had enough time already); then make sure they are gone. You are not obligated to take care of grown people. You have done too much already. But you must step out. Don't wait for someone to do it on their own. People like that will never stop freeloading if you don't stop it. Open your mouth and speak out. God will be with you. I'll be praying for you.

I agree with the prayer, and the wisdom shared.
Lord,
It is very difficult to deal with conflict. It is very difficult for those of us who are caring folks to confront people when we may be fearful of their response. I ask you to give this person your strength, power and courage, and the timing to ask this person to leave.
I also ask that you protect this baby. Cover the woman and the baby in this situation and give them a place to be that is not in this woman's home.
Thank you for helping her and giving her strength to do this.
