Prayer for my immigration interview

My name is Kourosh and I would like to request a prayer for myself. I have an interview on March 30th 2010 and this interview is for my Geen Card acceptance. This interview can determine my life and state for staying in the USA. If this interview does not succeed I could lose my job, house and everything. Please I beg for you to pray for me to get through this interview and the difficult time I have been encountering due to the stress of this situation. I have put my total faith in God and all I can do is to pray day and night. Please pray for blessing on that day and success on my behalf. Please pray for the officer who is going to interview me on that day to have compassion and mercy.

No problem, brother. I will certainly pray for you. One word of advice first: I know it is difficult to keep peace in these situations, but you have to be careful with the worrying. It could crush your faith. Remember, Jesus has left you with a peace that passes all understanding; but you must submit all of your worries to him. Once you have prayed about your problem, just take your mind off of it. Don't keep thinking about so much about it. Of course I know that's not easy, but it is necessary. Always know that no matter what happens in this life, the Lord never leaves us and is always with us. That is something the Bible guarantees us. So let that be your peace. You are never alone. In your toughest moments Jesus is closer to you than ever before. It may not seem like, but he is. You just have to know that he is there by what his word says. Never go by how things appear. That could steal faith. Just stick to what his word says only.

Okay, let's pray: Father, you see the situation our brother is in, and you are surely concerned about him; for you love him more than he can imagine. You have a plan for his life and you have success in store for him, as well as all of your people. So we ask you to grant him his heart's desire in this matter. Be with him through this interview and touch the heart of those who will be making the decision in this matter. His desire to stay in this country, so we pray that he will be granted that wish.

Moreover, bless our brother with a greater degree of peace that you give to your people. Give his mind rest; fill his heart with a joy that he has never known. In the end, turn this whole situation into a great testimony that he will remember for the rest of his life. Let it be through what you do here that he comes to know you like never before. And we pray that no evil spirit will interfere with the work you are doing in his life and all the blessings you have in store for him. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God bless you, brother!
