I will pray for you, sister; but I wonder what you mean by being "ready to die?" My encouragement for you is to be careful when you think about dying,sister. That is usually a spirit of discouragement trying to overwhelm you. Demons are strategists: they overwhelm you, then they try to discourage you into to believing that life is not worth living. But the devil is a lie! Just remember what the word of God says: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jer.29:11). So take courage in those words, my sister. The Lord has much in store for you. And remember, you belong to the Lord; you were bought with a price (1Cor.6:20). So let the Lord determine when it is time for you to go. He knows what's best. Our lives belong to him only.

Okay, let's not worry about your father too much. Let's take it before the Lord. I think your father is an honorable man for the work he has done in the lives of you and your sister. Now, it is time for you and her to stand in the gap for him. You may think that you don't have much to give him, but believe me, you have more to give him than he ever gave you! How? Jesus-that's how! You have power...you can pray victory in his life...you can pray healing over him...all the things that money can't buy, you can give to him. So be encouraged in knowing the power that God has given you over your father's life. So go into spiritual warfare on behalf of your father. Begin to call down God's blessings over his life. Yes, you have the power, sister! Now just do it. But have faith!

Okay, let's pray: father, we thank you for your love and concern for us. We thank you that your eyes see all things, that no good thing escapes you. So I ask you to remember this father,the things he has done for his children and, possibly, for others. Now bless him in his time of distress. Open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon his life so that he doesn't even have enough room to receive it. Open up his eyes to who you really are; show him your salvation, if he does not already know you. You love this man and only desire what's good for him. Help him to see this.

And bless Madhuri, father. Show her that you love her and you are concerned about what she is concerned about. Surely you hear the cries of your people always; their pain never escapes your ears. Lift her up, Lord; restore her spirit; light a new fire in her for you, Lord, so that she might see the fullness of what you have to offer. Give her and her family all they have need of; and I pray no weapon the devil brings against them shall prosper. In Jesus name. Amen.
