Father, we pray for Dennis, that you will help him to sort out the thoughts that are now flooding his mind. Deal with the shock, father;deal with the grief that shall follow. Don't allow evil spirits to manipulate his thoughts with bitterness and resentment; but reach out and touch his heart with your divine love, father. Your words says that you heal the broken hearted; you bind up all of their wounds. You give divine peace, O'Lord, a peace that passes all understanding. So let that divine peace cover Dennis in this time O'Lord. Send your angel to comfort. Show him that everything will be okay in time. And bring people into his life that can comfort him and encourage him; Also those who will pray without ceasing for his family.

And father, I pray for everyone else affected by these events,not only members of the victim's family, but also members of the man who did the crime. Help them, Lord, to cope; draw them unto you. Set their minds and hearts free, father. May they all be draw to you through this crisis. Work it all out for their good. Do not allow the enemy to fill their hearts with guilt and shame. Bless them with your divine peace in this situation. Let not their hearts be troubled, father.
