Dear Heavenly Father,
I bow down to you now, and intercede for my friend in You who needs Your power. So many of us struggle with our emotions, mood instability, and falling for the lies of the enemy of our souls. I ask you to infuse this person with an infilling of Your Holy Spirit and faith to believe Your TRUTH. I ask You to grant them to ability to read Your word and ingest the TRUTH of who You are, and that they are able to overcome through the power of Your blood and Your Holy Spirit.
I pray that You TRUTH so saturate their mind so that nothing can bind them, except Your Love and light.
We are in a battle. A battle for our mind and heart. It seems constant, and rentless at times.Only through Your Spirit can we grab ahold of Your Word and fight the lies that bombard us.
Heal this persons mind, and heart today. You understand what it is like to face the enemy and win. When You were tempted in the wilderness, You answered the enemy with scripture. I pray that this person will use Your word as a weapon against any assult of the enemy or their flesh, speaking truth to it.
I pray that this person be able to fight every lie that is in their thoughts. That every time a negative thought comes up, they hold it captive and say, " No, I won't believe you, I only believe Truth. I only believe GOd. "No matter how they might feel.
Bless this person with peace. I cast down any stronghold of the enemy in this person's life. Give them understanding of their thought process, and heal any wounds of the past that may be keeping them fearful. If there are things they must deal with, and have been afraid to, I pray you give them courage to come to You and talk with you about these things. I pray that they are able to climb into Your lap and talk with you. Youcare about every detail of our lives., You have seen everything that has happened to us, even things that we don't remember or don't want to remember.
But, you can help us work through any pain, or wounding that was inflicted on us. You don't want us to be in denial, but to be fully open with you about all of our feelings, even if they feel weird or silly to share with you. You have created this beautiful soul and want them to know healing and freedom! You can heal them emotionally, and bring a peace that surpasses all understanding.
I lift this sweet person up you and ask that You rebuke the enemy from them, and guard their soul.
I ask you to speak to them in a way that they understand about what you personally want them to do . Ususally there is something specific that You wish to show people when they are hurting in this way.Give them ears, a quiet heart and courage to obey what you tell them, even if , and it often is, a difficult thing You ask. It seems difficult,facing fear and our anxiety can be overwhelming. It is the enemies lies that want us to stay bound.
It is often a process of mind renewal and takes time. Please give them patience as You do Your work. How wonderful that we know the One who saves us from all our fears. Give them hope that nothing can deatroy that You are good, and are able to change us.
We are so unable on our own to defeat this, or change ourselves. But You promise that You will complete us, make us whole, and change those things that keep us from being the people we long to be. You can ! You will!
