Dear Brother,
I think you are headed in a very beneficial direction. Your insight is very sharp about your issues. You are blessed to have a woman love you that much to tell you the truth.
I know that you will do the personal work that you need to do to get your breakthrough.
Once she sees first hand the changes you make, and know that you intentions are serious to get this under control, so many beautiful things will be in store for you.
You should feel good about yourself that you have the maturity to recognize these things, and be willing to do whatever you can to make the adjustments.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for this man's response to wanting to strengthen himself internally by working on those issues that have defeated him so long. I thank you that he is showing courage and trust in you , by being willing.
Please help him find the resources and the help he needs to work through these things that are painful. Help him find new ways to manage feelings, fear, and insecurities, selfish tendencies, that have held him in stuck patterns. You are the Way to freedom. I know you have been waiting for him to surrendor and be willing to listen to your Holy Spirit for a long time now. Touch his being in a new way and lead him through this process of healing in his inner man.
I pray that you give him a new confidence in himself, as he learns new ways of being, and that he finds, most of all, that he likes himself better than ever.
I thank you for this woman who obviously has invested quite a lot of her life in him, obviously cares deeply for him, but is strong enough to tell him the truth. I pray that as he changes, she will respond, and that their relationship becomes better than either of them could imagine.
I pray that their marriage be a growing, and secure place for both of them to fully be the people they were meant to be.
I lift them up to you and ask you to touch them both in new marvelous ways, and bless them.
