David was , is, wonderful. I love the David- spirit, to have a heart after God. God told David that he had a heart like his- merciful, kind, creative, and many other things- including passion, which he did not always direct in the most beneficial way.
Anyway, may we all be more like David, and seek the Lord Jesus , and praise him at all times. May we all be humble like David and , " be still and know that HE is God." I am grateful for the Psalms, and David's encouragement too.
We thank the Lord together for David, and for our longing to love the Lord the way he does.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you for the Shepherd King David. We thank you for the free way in which he lived his life before you- being honest and open with you about his feelings. I know you love that when we are open before you and intimate with you about all that we think, and feel.
Help us all to see the glory and power and also the friend that You were, are to David, and can be to us at any time no tmatter what is going on around us , or in us.
Thank you God for showing us through David that we can be real with you, and do not have to pretend we are something we are not.
