My room-mate is very sick and doesn't have medical insurance. She is only 40 and is having kidney problems and needs prayer...please let her be healed through prayer. Also, in the same week...my father was arrested. He is an older man and already spent 15 years in prison....I don't know how he will make it. My mom died when i was young, so me and my younger disabled brother have no where to turn....and i suffer from horrible depression. All of this is so overwhelming....I really need my best friend/room-mate to be alright becaus e she is the only friend i have and i care about her so much. thank -you

Dear Friend,
My heart goes out to you. It sounds as if you have had been given very difficult circumstances. In the natural you would be depressed.

I was thinking about your room mate situation. Some times, we pray so that God can tell us an action to do.

I know God can heal supernaturally, but it is also possible that He uses medical professionals too.
' I pray that she gets help, and for you to give a lift from the burdens you carry, much of which have not been in your control.
Dear Lord,
I bow down to you for my sister who needs you to help her. You hear your people when they cry out to you and respond. Have mercy on her and show her how much you love her in ways she can recieve. Please heal her broken herat.
So much has happened to her that it is over whelming and has wounded her. You bind up the wounds of Your people, and are near the broken hearted.
Pleae help them figure out how to deal with the room mates health situation. Make a way for her to get help. Open a door for her to find help.
Father , rebuke the spirit of depression in this womans life, and free her from the emtional turmoil that weighs her down. Send her people, books, radio programs, whatever will lead her to find freedom and joy in life, in You.
Come, Holy Spirit and be the Mother that she never got to have. Make up to her all the things which have been ripped off from her by the enemy. Reward her for her choosing to place her trust in you. She come with a humble heart, and needs you.
Come, Jesus and shine your light bright inside her. Give her strength to go on, enlarge her ability to recieve all that You have for her.
We thank you that You have got her this far. She is a miracle. You have given her a warrior spirit.
We place her in Your Mighty Hand for blessing, safe- keeping and rest in Your arms.

Thank you for our coming together to pray, to talk to you about her needs.
We thank you for Your faithfulness to answer. Help us trust you when the way seems unclear. You have promised to go ahead and prepare the way, our steps ordered by You.
You are faithful even when we are not!
We praise you for healing, physically and mentally.
Have your perfect will in her father's heart. Only you know what is best. Cause the attorneys , judges, and all others involved to do your will as is very best for him.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

I just wanted to tell you how much redaing your prayer and knowing that you were praying for me and my family meant to me. Out of all the people I reached out to, including friends, family and even strangers-you were the only person who took the time to send an encouraging comment my way. I can honestly say your words touched me in a way that I really needed on that day. PLEASE continue to pray for us. My dad is literally in need of a miracle and my friend-although she is a little better-she continues to suffer from illness and has not been offered a job after 11 interviews. Just knowing that you and other wonderful people like yourself are out there is a much needed encouragement. With all my heart-THANK YOU! Rhonda

Thank you for being so kind as to write in and say so! You are very welcome! Things are so painful here on planet earth some times. There are so many things we suffer that do not make sense. If it were not for Jesus there would be no point in living it- except for the hope that is His love, the mystery of His love.
About your Dad, the truth is that we do not know what would be the very best for some one. I have a daughter who was incarcarated, and a brother who is in. God choose to deal with them differently. Only He knows what experience some one needs to have. I do not think God desires us to suffer, or that it is always His perfect will, but He allows some things that I think are just plain wrong for people have to go through. But, thank God I am not God.
Before my brother went to jail I never even knew anybody who ever was. Then my daughter got into a drug lifestyle, and got placed in corrections. Thank God she was still young enough for rehabilitation ,according to the system, and she is now in treatment , rather than corrections. But God knows best. She was facing up to three years in adult prison. God send us an experienced attorney who fought for her, and was skilled, and had favor.
I never had been involved at all in the correctional system and had my eyes open to how God is there in that court room. I felt like I was in church every time I went , which was up to 20 times( with all the detention hearings we had.
I know you love your father. I pray that he is able to hear God speak to him, and that he give his life totally to the Lord. I pray that the Lord have mercy upon him.
I also feel great compassion for your brother. What kind of disability does he have? I work with developmentally disabled adults. I know the energy that takes to be a caretaker, emotionally and physically, and also the joy, but it is tough.
Please write in as you feel you need.
Sister, thanks for sharing what you are going through. I know when you have gone through many sufferings, some times it can feel that those things are not going to be treated with proper respect, or that no one cares. I feel led to tell you God does care about every thing , all your tears, all your pain, and will never leave you or abandon you. He loves you with an everlasting love, even on those days that seem so dark and you can not feel Him. He will never let go of your hand, even if you are too weak to keep ahold of His.
" Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for thisbeautiful young woman. I do not understand why she has had to suffer so much, or why it seems that life can be so hard for some of us. All I know is that you Love her through out it all, and will give her strength to endure, and to find joy along the way. Give her hope.
I pray that you restore her roomie to perfect health, and that this friendship is continuing to be close and that nothing comes between them. A friend is a great gift.Thank you for this gift for her.
Continue to guide her way. Intervene in her father's heart and direct him to counsel that is skilled and compassionate, and give him a proper defense, although the result is in Your Hand.
I pray a special blessing on this brother. Please help him feel secure, loved, and liked too. I pray he knows You love him and that he is precious.
We are all disabled in so many ways, some obvious, and some not so, but we all need you so much.
Be our comfort always Jesus,
In Your Name,
Amen
